What Is a Class Mom? Same Job, Different Name
A class mom is the parent who coordinates volunteers, parties, and notes for one class. Classroom mom means the same job as room parent.
Schools do not agree on the title. Class mom, classroom mom, and room parent are one role: an adult who keeps the class organized so the teacher is not recruiting for every party and field trip. The longer job description is in What Is a Room Mom?.
The work usually includes a signup for parties, a short note when something is due, and a backup when people cancel. A class mom shirt is optional. Some rooms buy a matching shirt so families can spot the coordinator at parties. The Room Mom Tee is one option if the class wants that.
Use the words your school already uses on the signup sheet. People answer the name they recognize.
